Who.. am I? My name is Michaela Schlatterer and I started this business, because the surrounding community needs a nursery to purchase plants at a reasonable price. Common Roots will be a new and different type of nursery. We will offer houseplants, plant related gifts and books, bulk seed, gardening supplies, and fresh floral. Jackson County needs this, due to the fact that there are no other businesses around the area that sell these types of products. For the past two years, my husband and I have been vending at local festivals.. this year we are upping our game and making the plant business MOBILE! That's right, we are transforming our trailer to sell plants, apparel, and gifts out of.

When? Well right now. We're starting to document this journey today, July 6, 2023.

Where? We are currently located in Jackson County in southern Indiana. We are willing to travel to Kentucky and other parts of Indiana to bend at festivals.

Why? I want to share with people that if you can manage to find your passion, you should run with it. Take what you love most and at least attempt to share it with others.. if you can make money doing it, well that's just a plus.
